I have been playing football since I was walking. In pee-wee, first through sixth grade, I played both offensive line and middle linebacker. That carried forward through junior high school. My freshman year, I got tapped from JV to play on varsity after my first game. Initially, I was playing both defense and offense. However, our Head Coach, Watkins, doesn't allow for his offensive lineman to play both ways. My love has always been defense. I was allowed to play a couple of plays (4 plays) against Pleasant Grove last year in the playoffs because they needed a stop. I had three tackles and one and a half sacks. I have been all district since my freshman year. I finished my senior year by being named Offensive Lineman of the year.
My senior year we were 7 seconds away from beating Carthage. They COULD NOT get to the quarterback through me. Unfortunately - our qb and running back had a bad handoff.
My grades are good. I love God. I do not drink or smoke. I am respectful.
I love the game. I love my team. I work hard. I am fast. I have great foot speed. No one can out Hussle me. And YOU CAN NOT OUT WORK ME. Every morning I drove from Meridian to Glen Rose, and every evening I drove back. I understand what it takes to sacrifice. I lost my dad suddenly in July 2022. He was my hero and my biggest fan. My mom has been taking care of the three of us. I really want to make her proud and see my dream come true.
