Travis Woody '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is T.J Woody and I am a 5'10" 280 lb DL & OL.  I have been playing football for 7 years.  As a freshman, I played both right and left tackle on offense as well as nose guard and tackle on defense.  Entering the playoffs that year I was moved to Varsity and played defensive end.  As a sophomore, I had a broken hand so play time was limited on defense.  However, I had shared starting responsibilities at left tackle.  As a Junior I am the starting nose guard and focusing more on defense as well as second string left tackle on offense.  My versatility has made me a more well rounded athlete.  I am determined not only for football but to succeed academically and am looking forward to playing at the next level.  I strive to be both a team player and hard worker on and off the field.  While in college my goal is to not only play football but to earn my degree to become a high school coach.  I want to be able to give back and show leadership to athletes as my coaches have given to me.
