Jakob Teague '20 Recruiting Profile

My personal mission statement is to never lose sight of the things that are most important to me. I want to constantly strive to be the best version of myself, and always remind myself to continue to grow and expand. I must remember to never fear my mistakes and honor all of my commitments. By not losing sight of these things I will always make the right decisions,  which will make me the best student, athlete, and man.  I have to be willing to make mistakes and grow from them, because it is those mistakes and my past that has shaped me to the person I am now. However, I know over the years my circumstances might change. Therefore my priorities will change, my goals will change, and my dreams may change. That's okay because change means growth, and as I grow, transform, and broaden my horizons I will alloy myself the freedom to expand and change my mission statement.  For now, I will congratulate myself on a job well done. I will take my life as a journey and use this mission statement as my map.
