Landon Buffin '23 Recruiting Profile

At 6 years old my parents signed me up for a youth football organization and I put on my first football uniform.  I actually took a nap in it that day, helmet and all, and that’s when it started.  I’ve been playing football ever since.  Playing football over the last 10 years has not only helped me grow as an athlete in the sport I love, but what I’ve learned on the field will help me through real life situations off the field as well.  Leadership, work ethic, and not giving up are just a few traits I will use throughout my life.  

I’m preparing for college by finishing off high school strong academically and challenging myself throughout my senior year outside the books, in order to become a more well-rounded student athlete.  I’m looking for a college, that not only will continue to allow me to play the sport I love, but more importantly will help me prepare for life after college.

Life is going to give you 4^th and inches all the time and you have to be confident enough in yourself to go for it.
