Personal Statement
I intend to play football in college while earning a degree in a sports medicine related field. My love for sports is the driver in what I decide to be professionally.
The majority of my primary years I lived in Alaska. We didn’t get to play much football when I was younger. Hockey was the big game. When we moved to Washington, being a huge football fan, I couldn’t wait to play. I was signed up and started playing football my 6th grade year. I have played ever since and found my place as a defensive linebacker, with skill in both inside and outside. I also play QB with an empty offense, so I'm a part time running back. My versatility to play multiple positions on both offense and defense has taught me to read the plays pre & post snap. For this reason, I would be a significant asset and factor on your football team.
I continue to grow and develop my football skills with off season training and camps in preparation for this coming year. I am also working on developing other attributes, leadership, stewardship and accountability for example, all while maintaining a GPA that will prepare me best for college environments.
