Hello, my name is Cody Clarke, and I am going into my senior year as a linebacker at Battle Ground High School. I aspire to be a quality football player at any college that is willing to give me a shot to play on their football team, as well as to continue my academic career at that school. I am a good candidate for any team because I have developed a hard work ethic and I am willing to take any coaching that I receive, whether it be positive or negative. I am a hard worker in the weight room, as well as in the classroom. I have taken honors and AP classes throughout my high school career, as well as being a member of the Cascadia Technical Academy fire cadet program, which has taught me the importance of being accountable for myself and others, having integrity, and being a good leader, teammate, and person. I believe that this alone sets me apart from other athletes because I know the importance of these traits of hard work ethic, being a leader, and being morally sound, whereas there are others who are lacking in these areas. I strive to get better everyday and to be a part of a strong culture that wants to welcome me to it.
