Dedication means to be committed to something you would want to do for a long time. In this statement, I will explain why dedication is a unique quality I possess in school and on sports teams. 

I am dedicated to school because I work hard every day. After moving up into accelerated math, I had harder work and tests. I studied every week learning new strategies to help me. All the hard work and dedication to getting better helped me improve from d’s to a’s within 4 months. 

Another thing I am dedicated to is sports. I play on a basketball team called PTA. I show dedication to this because I have become better at basketball working 12 hours a week. The outcome was me starting at an 8th or 9th man to becoming a 5th or 6th man. As in school, I am dedicated to my sports team. 

Dedication makes me a valuable football player because I work hard to improve my knowledge and skill.
