Personal Statement

I am a senior at Middleton High School in Madison, Wisconsin. I am a 6'5", 205 pound tight end and defensive end. After my Junior year, I had a 3.97 GPA. I also got a 33 on my ACT. I am currently in 4 AP classes, and I love to challenge myself on the field and in the classroom.  I work hard on my academics, which pays off. I pride myself on setting a good example on and off the field, and I think this helps me be a good leader. I was a captain of the football team in 2015, and a captain of the basketball and tennis teams my junior year.

I would love to go to an institution known for its excellence in both academics and athletics. Right now, I am interested in studying Biology or Business. I would prefer to play at a college/university where I can make an impact (whether that is with leadership, on the practice field, or in the game), while getting a high-quality education.
