August 2023Personal Statement
I am looking forward to my Senior Season. I will be the K/P and playing WR and DB. I want to play college football as either a K/P a WR or both. I am looking for a school that I will fit at academically (Exercise Science/Athletic Training/Coaching) and athletically.
I was recently named the #7 Specialist in the State of Wisconsin and hope to be higher by the end of the year. I was also nominated for the Kevin Stemke Award Pre-Season Watch List for the top specialist in the state.
I recently completed the National Scholarship Kicking Camp for Kohl's Kicking Camps. I had multiple kickoffs of over 65+ yards and multiple field goals made of over 50+ yards including a 56 yarder. I am 4.5 Star rated Kicker and continuing to show improvement.
As a junior I also led my team in receiving yards. Tied for most 2nd most receptions in a game(9) in Hortonville High School History. Leader in the conference in receiving yards per game in Wisconsin Valley Football Conference. Second in Yards per reception in the conference with players over 10 receptions.
I also played CB (HM as a sophomore) and was the kicker and punter for my team. I did receive HM honors for punting in the conference and averaged over 40 yards per punt.

- Overall score of 98.80. Wendt recently competed at the 2021 Kohl's Spring Midwest Showcase. He scored 4 points in the field goal charting and impressed in his kickoffs, his best ball was 63 yards with 3.65 yards of hang time. Wendt has great leg strength that shows through his ball striking abilities. As he continues to gain more control of his body through his kicks, he will create more consistency making Wendt a promising athlete within his class.
