My name is Coby Jones, and I am wanting to pursue a scholarship in athletics. I am a hard worker on and off the field. I will work harder than any other defensive tackle you have on your recruiting list. I am willing to work as hard as I can to become a starter an excel at any college that I go to. I am only a sophomore. My freshman year I was gifted the opportunity to be part of a team of very talented seniors and my team making it all the way to the semi-finals game lit a spark in my body to help Mountain View High School return to the Semi Final game and win this time. However, we were not able to return to that game. We were not even able to make the playoffs and being less then mediocre my sophomore year lit that spark again only stronger this time. I have dedicated myself to training every day in order to help return Mountain View Football to the same athletic prestige it has experienced in the past. I also promise that I will maintain that fire this upcoming season, the next offseason, my senior season, and I will maintain that fire and training mentality at the next level. I hope you will consider me as a player who you are willing to give a scholarship to.
