Maven Cardwell '20 Recruiting Profile

I’m a 6’2 combo guard/forward from Poston Butte High School in San Tan Valley, AZ. I will graduate in 2020. I’m looking to play D2 or D3 basketball, ideally in the West. On the court, my strengths include three-point shooting, playmaking in the pick-and-roll, and great on-ball defense. My ultimate goal is to graduate from college and to be the first of my siblings to have a college degree. I love playing basketball and feel with the right school and coach I can grow on and off the court to be a great young leader. I feel I may be different from other recruits because I put the student aspect first. Being able to play sports is a privilege and without being successful in the classroom it doesn't matter how much talent you have.
