Octavian Moore '22 Recruiting Profile

I am Octavian Moore and I'm a 6 foot 1 point guard and shooting guard and I weigh near 164 and 165 pounds and this year, I came out of one of my best years playing basketball averaging near 23 points per game during the 2019/2020 season and I'm apart of the 2022 Graduate Class.

Getting good grades for me has always been pretty easy but getting there has either took me a long time to get the grades I wanted because I started off slow or I immediately start and potentially end the year with good grades. Not a lot of class achievements I've gotten, but most teachers say to me that I'm smart, but I don't always show my true potential or I'm a slow worker. I currently attend East Hartford High School. I'm a sophomore (about to enter junior year) and I've been playing basketball ever since I was in the first grade.

I'm a point guard that originally played small forward but since most coaches saw me play better as a guard than a forward, they switched me to point guard and stuck with it ever since. I'm a good all-around shooter, post defender, inside scorer, and play maker. My favorite school subjects are English and Science and Math I'm pretty neutral in. I make honors at least twice every school year and I wanted to chase the dream of being a professional basketball player, music producer and actor. I work hard every single day no matter what I'm doing and I will always give it 100% effort. And I'll continue practicing and training with the hopes of me playing in college and professionally.
