Scott Dalesio '20 Recruiting Profile

Hi, I'm Scott Dalesio, and I don't just love basketball, but it's my passion. Since I was little my parents got me involved in camps at rec centers. From there I got onto elementary school teams, middle school teams, AAU teams and on high school teams. When I'm not in game on the court, I'd be at the gym training; Either dribbling, shooting, passing, or in the workout room getting stronger. Staying in shape is KEY! I don't have just a will to play, but a WILL TO WIN. It doesn't matter if I start, or come of the bench, I'm willing to accept a role in which puts our team into the best position it can be in. I like to pass and create shots for others, and go in/out of every night hard. I run track and want to be the fastest guy out on the court. I may be shorter than other players but I use that to my advantage. They might not think as highly of me but they get relaxed when thinking this and that's when I pick their pocket.

Academics is KEY also. It's called student-athlete for a reason. I've held around a 3.8 GPA and understand that you're going to school for a reason. Playing sports is a privilege.  I will go into college studying sports medicine, athletic training, coaching, health, or something to do with athletics. I want to be either a Coach or GM of a NBA franchise someday. Either way I go, it is going to be something with sports. I'm determined if I work hard, and believe in myself, I can be or do anything I want. Times may get stressful, but I'll just keep looking at the prize and work my way there with nothing but sheer will.
