Dear Coaches, My name is Jaiden Rajis, and I'm here to tell you some things about me. When I was younger I watched my first college game of basketball. I was so into the competition, the excitement, and the hunger the teams had to secure. At the age of 6, back when I lived in Jersey my dad took me and my twin brother to the park. After some time we would consistently go to the parks to practice. Most of the time we were there we would rather go play with the other kids in the park. But are dad would always say" Finish 10 more layups from this side" or "Finish these last 5 jump shots" before he let us go.
A couple of years later I realized all those shots and layups you used to do before running to the park fell all in place at the right time. Fast forward to 4th grade and my twin brother dominated the league we were put in. And after that, that's when I found out I had a love for the game of basketball. I stopped I started to consistently play Basketball with my friends and just became fun and also competitive.
Once middle school started I went to Learning Express Academy through 6th grade and 7th grade. In my 8th grade year, I transferred to Fairwinds Christian School and played soccer and basketball that year. That year I mostly played on JV basketball and we went on an 11-0 run until the playoffs. I struggled on Varsity only averaging 4 ppg and I knew I had to take my game to the next level. So after my 8th-grade year, my offseason was just grind, discipline, and work and because of that, I and my team won our summer league championship. and also I went to my first-ever Pangos all-American camp.
Entering Freshman year most of our star players left and I knew I had to step up. I averaged 15.6 ppg but are record was 6-11 we fought hard in most games and learned not just basketball lessons but life lessons throughout the season. But since I am now going on to sophomore grade I am looking for colleges and places where I can take my game and me as a young man to the next level.
