Alon Rotem '24 Recruiting Profile

Since I started playing basketball at a young age, I have always been a part of the underdog teams. At first, it was hard to go up against big-time programs and schools and watch those teams end up with the hardware yearly.  I didn't realize it, but those underdog teams made me into the player and person I am today. I learned the importance of hard work, leadership and perseverance very young. Those times are evident in my game today, as I naturally gravitate to the leadership spot in every team I play on by leading by example on and off the court. I represent all programs I am on with extreme pride and respect on and off the hardwood. I am looking for a school that will challenge me academically and push me to my peak potential athletically. 

On the court, I believe I have the talent and character to immediately impact your program.  I possess the shooting, ball-handling, and passing attributes that coaches of all levels love in a point guard. I also take pride in defence and often guard the opposing team's best player. Off the court, I work very hard and tend to push my teammates and hold them accountable to work on their game and school work, increasing the team's success. As a team captain on almost every team I have ever been on, I believe I have the characteristics that will perfectly suit your basketball program and school community!
