William Shaw '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is William P. Shaw, class of 2024, a 6'3" SG starter for the Miami Valley Saints (MVS) Homeschool Basketball and AAU Dayton Disciples in Dayton, OH.  I have emerged as a dominant basketball player, high scorer with speed, strength, extreme athletic ability, proven record of scoring multiple ways, court vision, great ball distribution skills, and the ability to take over a game from my position offensively and defensively.  

Presently a starter, positions shooting guard, small forward, and some point guard.  I am averaging 18.7 ppg, 5 rpg, 2 spg this 2023-2024 season. Some of my accomplishments this season include: scored 26 pts and 10 reb against High Street Christian Academy, scored 26 pts against Landmark Eagles, scored 20 pts and 10 reb against Evansville Racers, named All-Star at the 2023 Cedarville Men's Basketball ID Camp, named All American 2022-2023 amongst nationwide coaches of the National Homeschool Basketball Championships, received Miami Valley Saints Offensive Player of the Year for the 2022-2023 Season, NCHBC Tip-Off Classic earning 1st Place in Tournament scoring a "double double" in Championship game against Anderson Sons; scoring 34 pts against CHESS Christian Academy OH, scoring 30 pts against CEC Cougars KY, and 19 pts against 4th National Ranked Marion Hawks OH, received Miami Valley Saints 2021-2022 season Most Improved Player.
