I fell in love with basketball when I was just 5 years old in first grade at Woodland Elementary! I came home from school and asked my Dad to teach me how to play because I knew then what I wanted to do with my life. Since then I have dedicated myself to hard work, discipline and I have embarked on a journey that would lead me to becoming the best basketball player I can be therefore allowing me to have great success at the collegiate level. On any given day you will find me and my Dad in the gym working hard long after the cleaning staff has gone home. I believe in outworking my opponents and I will be the hardest working recruit you will find. Playing at the collegiate level, walking into an arena is something I have fantasized about my entire life. I also want to earn a degree from your college and impact the world for Jesus Christ!
I am an excellent ball handler with high basketball IQ. I hustle, communicate on defense and give maximum effort when I step on the court. I am also extremely competitive! I am a pretty good leader because I lead by example on and off the court. I hold my teammates accountable as well as inspire and encourage my teammates.
I work hard year round with 5 am or late night workouts during school ball. I prefer late night training because I am not a morning person..Lol Then when school ball ends its right off to AAU season. During the Summer when school is out I increase my training by doing 2 a days. My Dad and I weight train for at least 30 minutes before I even step on the court. This contributes to my stamina, conditioning and athleticism.
My goal is to find a college that competes at the highest level of competition, that has a great culture on the campus and a great locker room culture that I can be a part of. A coach that will push me to excel on the court, in the classroom and in life, therefore affording me the opportunity to become a proud alumni. I hope to become a role model to the people in the community while simultaneously making my Mom and Dad proud!
Thank you for your time and consideration!
