Personal Statement

I am a 6' point guard/shooting guard from Cedar Rapids, Iowa.  I will be graduating in the 2018 class.  I have been a four sport athlete (football, basketball, soccer and baseball) for my first two years of high school and have also played AAU basketball for the past 7 years.  I want to spend my last two years of high school focusing on my first love of basketball as well as football.  I plan to work hard on my academics also to improve my overall GPA.

I am hoping to attend a medium size school that has a great college town atmosphere.  Financial assistance is going to be very important to me in selecting a college as I come from a single parent home.  I am currently interested in Criminal Justice.

I have natural leadership ability for my teams and a high sports IQ.  I am able to learn quickly and make adjustments as needed. I hope to attend a school where I could have an immediate impact on the team.
