Personal Statement

Hello, my name is Megan Witte.  I have set many goals for myself that I am determined to accomplish, weather it's on the court, at school, or at home. My plan is to graduate college with a GPA higher than 3.5,  and live my dream of playing not only high school basketball, but continuing onto playing college basketball. I am up for any challenges people throw my way because I am a hard worker and won't settle for anything less than my best. I take risks which is part of what makes me different from others. I'm not afraid to try new things or step out of my comfort zone, if that's what it's going to take to get the job done. Whatever team I have been apart of, I have treated my team with respect, supported them through tough times, encouraged them to keep pushing and not give up, and cheer for them whenever they do something great. Overall I strive for great sportsmanship, I understand that it's a team sport and not all about me, and I make sure that me team knows that I appreciate them. Not only do I treat my teammates this way, but my classmates, coaches, teachers, and parents as well. I can play any position I am needed to play, and excel. I can handle the ball under pressure to drive to the rim and with my height it gives me a chance inside to post up as well. Many of my skills allow me to be able to accomplish basically anything I set out to do. I will keep working in the gym to increase my skills, because I know that I can never stop learning and getting better. You can always do more to improve your shot or ball handling skills. Lastly I am confident in myself, my teammates, coaches, and parents that they will help me do great things. on and off the basketball court.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
