Personal Statement
I shed my CSI redshirt at a Vegas tournament playing against Three Rivers on Dec. 20, 2009. Coach Gosar told The Magic Valley Times-News, "Dennis was big time, absolutely big time." We won by 5. The game was a lot of fun! College level basketball is helping me grow into a better person while building my basketball skills. I love being part of my team "family".
Following CSI, I am seeking a school that offers a good business program and a competitive basketball program. I enjoy performing well in the classroom and in front of fan-filled bleachers on the court. Therefore, I am open to considering schools across the country in order to find the best fit where I can reach my academic goals while making big impact on the team.
Basketball has been my passion for as long as I can remember. I played 8 years on a traveling AAU team, then started all 4 years on my high school varsity team. As a junior, I was chosen 1st Team 5A Southern Conference and set a school record for scoring 43 points in one game. During my senior year I helped lead my team to the state playoffs and also played in the Idaho All Stars Game at NIC.
