Kenton Bartlett '16 Recruiting Profile

Hi Coach!  I started playing football when I was seven years old and fell in love with the sport. I’ve started on varsity since I was a freshman and have had the opportunity to play multiple positions including center, linebacker, defensive end, fullback and tight end.  My teammates again voted me as a captain, and I take that responsibility seriously and humbly.  This year as a middle linebacker and defensive end, I had 93 total tackles, 25 for losses, 3 defensive touchdowns, and 9 sacks. I was named the defensive player of the year in our conference (Southern Idaho Conference) and 2nd team all conference on offense.  I also received the MVP team award for defense.  I have a very supportive family who consistently reminds me that education comes before football, and I will enter college with that philosophy.  If you could use a physical, quick, and hardworking 6’3” 235 lb. linebacker on your team, I would love to hear from you.
