Darryl Rouse '18 Recruiting Profile

My name is Darryl Rouse Jr. (DJ) I am a student-athlete at Hillcrest High School. I play basketball, football and run track. I am a member of the student government at my school, as well as the Youth Commission in the town where I reside. I am aggressively improving myself to be the best possible student-athlete I can be.

I haven’t decided what I want to major in, but my interests are criminology and communications. My personal drive allows me to be a leader on and off the court which gives me the ability to motivate my teammates. My athleticism, hustle, and rebounding skills give me the ability to set the tone of the game defensively. I’m coachable, a quick learner, and displays sportsmanship like conduct. My court vision and quick feet allows for me to be able to create my own shot.
