Senior Year Highl...Personal Statement
Despite my Junior year not going as well as I expected, I still work hard because I know that there is always room for improvement. My goal is to perfect my craft and become the best player that i can be for both myself and my team. I am always working on becoming a better player. I spend a lot of my spare time in the gym and weightlifting.I am a great candidate for your team because basketball is my life. When i wake up in the morning, it's to play ball. I am passionate what i do. It takes a lot of heart and dedication to do what we do on the court and i can guarantee that everytime i set foot on the court, i’m willing to open up my heart and give my team 110% of me.Furthermore, my love for basketball has helped me develop in many more aspects in life. My passion for basketball keeps me motivated academically. I currently have a 2.7 GPA in my junior year, but you can expect improvement in that area as well..I am very diverse in my skill set.I am equally talented offensively and defensively. i can protect the rim, get rebounds and i'm quick on my feet. This year, was a better year for me academically. I have a better understanding of my wants and desires. I've realized that my education and basketball are equally important to me; one doesn’t have more value than the other. I would like to major in marketing in school and I am looking forward to attending a school that offers excellent programs for my major and allows me to pursue my basketball career. Im looking for a coach who desires to take a kid with outstanding potential and give him the opportunity to be Great because i deserve that and i have a ton to offer.
