Basketball is not just a sport that I play, but is a part of who I am. I have played the game since I was around 6 years old. I remember being scared of being hit by the ball at first, but through studying the game, practicing the game and focusing on building my body to be fit to play at my best, I developed a passion for basketball. Sure, I’ve tried other sports, but I always have returned to my first love. I appreciate my parents for their willingness to foster my desire. I appreciate them for their contribution in developing me to be a better athlete, student, and teammate.
