Kalep Crane '20 Recruiting Profile

Perspective Coaches,

I'm Kalep Crane a 6'1" Point Guard from Simsboro Louisiana.  I have been playing organized ball since I was 8 years old, and working with a trainer for the past 6 years.  My goals and aspirations are to attend a college or university that will allow me to earn an education, all while pursuing my lifelong dream of playing collegiate basketball.  My efforts are not solely isolated to the basketball court, I work equally as hard in the classroom, which is evident by my 4.2 GPA out of 4.0 for my high school academic career, as I have taken all Honors courses since my Freshman year.  I'm a very team-oriented player, willing to put the goals of the team ahead of any personal goals I have.  I am have been fortunate enough to be a 3x State Champion during my high school career.  My current season my averages are 25.5pts, 6.1 rebs, 3 assists, and 3 stls per game.   I have been named to both 1st team All-district and All-State Honorable Mention twice, in my 2 years as a starter.  I'm definitely the type high character person and player that would be an asset to any collegiate level program.
