Personal Statement

One day when I was in kindergarten during recess, my Teacher Ms. Keir suggested that me and a couple of my friends go play some basketball.  I had never heard of "basketball," but as soon as I  picked up the ball, I was hooked for life.   I was very excited to tell my parents about this new game I had discovered.  I also learned that day that my Father played basketball while growing up and he was very good.  For the next 8 years, my Father taught me how to play.  He coached me through all the Rec Leagues, Suburban Leagues, Summer Leagues, and Fall Leagues before handing me off to High School and AAU.  I always played up a level because my Dad consistently said it would better prepare me for High School and College.  He was right !!!

As I approach my Senior year in High School and 4th year on Varsity, I look to my future.  After I graduate, I want to attend a college that offers me a good education in business and provides me the opportunity to play basketball competitively for another 4 years.  My dream is to one day own and operate a world class Fitness Center.

I am a dedicated, hard working, intelligent, highly skilled and competitive student athlete.  I am always striving to become a better person in and out of the classroom as well as on and off the court.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
