Personal Statement
First of all, I am a National Honor Society member, am consistently on the honor roll, and carry a 3.75 G.P.A. This all goes along with playing football, basketball (high school and AAU), and lacrosse. Along with playing sports, I am a Second Lieutenant and Platoon Commander in JROTC and Volunteer Referee Basketball for 8-10 year olds.
I am a three year starter at DE and OT for my school’s team. However, I look to transition into the TE position at the college level. In high school, I have played OT because of my ability to block and my physicality. Blocking is a part of the game I love; I am a physical player that loves to dominate my opponent. I also possess athleticism and footwork. I am also the starting power forward on my school team and my AAU team. My basketball highlights can be found at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rlB9ExotYIY . On the court I am known for my physical style of play, my strength and my ability to box out. My ability to box a defender out and catch the rebound at its peak will help me, and transition onto the football field. I am also a starting defenseman on my school’s Lacrosse team. On the Lacrosse field I am known for being very physical and scrappy. The footwork and agility needed on the Lacrosse field will also be transitioned onto the football field. I am a very hard-working student-athlete that will give my full effort in the classroom and the playing field.
My goal is to attend a four year college, and play football on my school's team. I plan to graduate with a degree in physical education and health.
