Two things, besides God and family are important to me, Academics and Basketball. I have always been a great student in the classroom and have always been diligent in my homework and studies. I am not a procrastinator and push myself to get good grades. I am the same when it comes to Basketball. I like to be the first in the gym and the last one to leave. I practice every day and I thrive on being worked hard to get better. I like to play against guys bigger and better than me because I know it will only make me a better player and challenge me to work hard. I am a team player and know that you don't have to score the most points to make an impact on the team. My high school team this year is a brotherhood, and we respect each other. Our camaraderie helps us achieve the W's and as team captain I am helping to lead our team each and every day. We are unselfish, know to make the extra pass and understand that if one of us is getting shut down by an opponent someone else can, and will, step up. Our "teamwork" on and off the court shows in our current #3 state ranking for AAAA schools.
