Personal Statement
Who am I, I am a Class of 2016 5'10 starting point guard for Asheville High. I feel like I had to overcome great obstacle to get to where I am now. Coming into my freshman year I really wasn't the talk around the high school. But during that summer I became dedicated to the game and wanted to work as hard as I could to do big things and all that hard work paid off. I got the starting position on varsity as a freshman and since then I have continued to work hard for my spot to maintain it. But not only did I work hard on the court, I worked hard in the classroom also. I think it is great for me not only to be good on the court but also being good student in the classroom. Throughout my three years I have maintained to keep a 3.6 weighted GPA.
As my career goes by I feel like I have not only grew as a player but I have grown as a leader also. My freshman year I didn't really say much, but these last two years my team needed me to step up and become that leader. I feel like if I was to commit to a school I would bring talent, leadership, hard work, academics, and a someone that is very coachable.
