Cory Dennis '20 Recruiting Profile

As a 6'4 junior all around basketball player, I primarily play PG/SG but can play all positions on the court (1-5). I shoot consistently and make shots from almost anywhere on the court. While I am a three sport athlete, playing basketball, soccer, and lacrosse, basketball is my number one sport and is my greatest passion.

I have been playing basketball since I was five years old. Since I first stepped on the court, I have aspired to play at the collegiate level. With strong ball handling skills, soft hands, and a high basketball IQ, I am a team leader and try to lead by example while also encouraging my teammates. I am very coachable and strive to be one of the hardest working players for any team I am a part of.

Off the court, I study hard and maintain a high GPA, while being a member of our school's stage crew and a volunteer helper for many extra curricular clubs. Volunteering my time for helping others in need is why I chose to go on many out of country volunteer trips (Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, etc). On these trips I painted and built houses, taught young kids how to speak English, and helped locals with cooking, cleaning, painting, building, and more.

My goal is to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the basketball court. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible. I hope to become a great role model to all peers and make my parents proud.
