Steven Gonell '27 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Steven Gonell and im a 5’9 14 year old freshman that attends technology high school in newark NJ

I’ve always found it easy to become obsessed with the process. When I was about the age of 11 I had picked up a ball for the first time and decided I saw myself doing everything in my power to pursue basketball as a sport. I am a very all around student athlete. I am a C/o 2028 reclass which was able to skip up over the summer and land in the 9th grade, my grades have always been over a 3.3 GPA throughout my life and I have even had a few semesters where I would pull a 4.0, especially last year. I am currently taking honors Algebra II and Geometry, and Honors English I.  I would say myself that I am a very coachable player that prioritizes simply putting the ball in the hooping by any means necessary. There isn’t a day I’m not working on my craft in high volume, I tend to go for 400-950 makes a day and find myself playing till the dawn of night on most days. 

I hope as a college recruiter I can get my profile across to you in the way I intended, and to hopefully be noticed by many of you. I suggest to keep up with me during the season as I’ll finally be able to add film this year as my games will be recorded.
