Iverson Gil '21 Recruiting Profile

Growing up my dream always was to become a professional athlete, and be recognized as one of the greatest, but not only that, I want to make my parents proud, I want them to see me succeed as an athlete, and show them that all their sacrifices will not be in vain. I would be a good candidate to play for your team because, I have the work ethic and I dislike loosing, and I’m sure you do too, so I will work my butt off on the court and outside the court to get the win we both badly want. What makes me different from other recruits is my character and personality, I’m not a follower I’m a leader, I always want to make sure that I’m not the only one getting better, but the people around me are too. Furthermore, I always make sure I get good grades, but if I’m being completely honest that’s thanks to my mom, she always kept pushing me regardless of how good my grades are, if I get an A, she would complain about how she wants an A+ . To add on, I’m a great athlete, I’m always putting the work in and I’m always thriving to become better, I might not be the fastest, or the best dribbler, or the best shooter, or the one that can jump the highest, but you better be sure I will work my butt off in order to become does things. To conclude, I’m sure you’ve heard some of these things from other recruits, but all I need is one shot to prove you that I’m different from the rest, thank you.
