Leonardo Cardenas '23 Recruiting Profile

I'm a diversified player who aspires to obtain my college degree in biomedical engineering or business while playing the sports I love. Academically, I went from high honor roll(PreCovid) & struggled academically during Covid. I’m focused on increasing my gpa to what it once was. My team is my family. My character is built on a simple motto: Train with intent and purpose in order to strive for excellence not perfection. I have Varsity sports & trained in all positions (basketball)/ Safety (football). I am a strong defender and offensively I can play where coach wants me to play, I stay humble and do what’s best for the team in order to win (teamwork makes the dream work) I can be your starter, or your 6th man that comes in hot off the bench. If I need to lead, I lead and if coach wants me to motivate and sub in to score, I score. I execute and motivate so our team wins.
