Personal Statement

Collegiate Goals and Aspirations:

My collegiate goals and aspirations is to be at a college where I can become a better student athlete . I want to be at a college where I am pushed everyday by my coaches, teammates, and teachers. In college I want to improve day by day and learn new skills that will make me better on and off the court.

What makes you a good candidate for their team?

In my junior I was team captain and my ability to come into a team and have a positive mindset whether it be in practice, games, or workouts is what makes me a good candidate for a team. Everyday no matter how the season is going I will come into practice and games ready to work with a big smile on my face. I want to grow with a team, I want to be in a environment where were all pushing each other to be better, and we have fun with the game. I love to smile, encourage my teammates, and work hard which are all things I will bring to a team.

What makes you different from other recruits in character,  athletics, and academics?

My positive energy and mindset is what makes me different from other recruits. I believe the positive energy I bring with my big smile on my face is what makes me different from a lot of other recruits. I will approach every game and practice with a positive mindset and even when adversity hits I will make sure to stay positive with teammates, coaches, and myself. In terms of athletics my approach to games and practices  is what makes me different from other recruits. I want to be pushed, I want to face adversity, I want to grow with my teammates and learn from each other while having fun.  Being accountable and owning up to mistakes is what also makes me different from other recruits. When it comes to academics my ability to look at school as fun is what makes me different from other recruits. I look at school as a way where I can learn different skills to become a better person, student, and athlete. Learning how to ask questions, learning how to be organized, and learning how to become more responsible is what school has taught and learning these things from school has made me look at it as fun.

By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
