As an individual, I have always been motivated by a strong sense of determination, and a drive to succeed. From the first time I played ball, I knew that I had a natural talent for teamwork and fast adaptation to new situations. As I progressed through my academic journey, I discovered that I also had a passion for learning and sought out challenges that would push me to excel.
Throughout high school, I challenged myself with honors classes and took college courses to broaden my knowledge base. These experiences helped me to develop a deeper understanding of the world around me and inspired me to pursue higher education.
January 2023, I earned Eagle Scout Rank, Boy Scouts of America. Through my 6 years of experience as a Boy Scout, I earned 45 merit badges and completed countless hours of volunteer work. The year of 2019, I received the President’s Volunteer Service Award and the Governor’s Award for Volunteer Service. These came from hours of community service where I contributed to our community after Hurricane Florence ravaged our county and left many community member’s homes in flood waters. The many experiences and life skills I gained through scouting will carry with me forever.
Now, as I look to discover who I will be and how this program will help me define who I am, I am excited to bring my determination and team-oriented mindset to the table. I am confident that my ability to adapt quickly to new situations and my willingness to work collaboratively with others will be invaluable assets as I navigate the challenges ahead.
Overall, I am excited about the opportunity to contribute my unique set of skills and experiences to this program. I am confident that by working together with others, I will be able to achieve great things and make a positive impact in the world.
