I have had a dream to play college basketball since I was in middle school. I fell in love with the game and everything it had to offer. The lessons this game has taught me hold near and dear to my heart and I will forever cherish them. The relationships I have made with coaches, trainers and teammates are beyond amazing. The places I have gone, the experiences I have had, and the time i've put into this game are something not everyone gets to experience. I am thankful for every second I have spent playing this game, and I want nothing more than to continue this into college. I am passionate about everything I do. In the classroom and on the court, I strive to be the best I can be. Anything I do, I do it to the best of my ability and I love putting in the work to make that happen. My goal is to play college basketball and get a top quality education, and that is why I work so hard. I'm always looking to make myself better, and those around me better. I know that basketball is not all that defines me. It is merely an extension of who I am. Honestly, I would rather be remembered as a man with character who does the right thing then be a basketball player first who lacks character and discipline. In the end, my life will not be over if I do not get the opportunity to play collegiate basketball. Yes, I will be disappointed, but I will come to realize how much basketball gave me not only as an athlete, but as a person This is exactly the reason why I want to continue my basketball career.
