I have been on varsity since my freshman year of high school, I played just a tiny bit my freshman year but still got some quality minutes considering the older guys playing. My sophomore year was where I got my first taste of consistent playing time. I started about half of the games and was the 6th man for the other half that year. I averaged around 6 points a game that year, and I even won the award for 6th man of the year. My junior year was my first year being a consistent starter, I only played around 4-5 games though because of an injury, I average around 10 points a game in the 4-5 games I did play with my highest scoring game being 18 points. I broke my leg in December and had to sit out the remainder of the year due to that injury. This upcoming season is my last season in high school, I will once again be the starting point guard and hope to average 15-20 points per game and also win a lot. I always make sure I am the first to arrive and practice, and the last one to leave. Last year I emerged as leader on and off the court. Even though I was sidelined due to an injury I still made sure to go to every practice and every game, even though it hurt me badly to not be on the court. I have loved basketball ever since a kid, and would without a doubt love to play College Ball. The most important thing in my life though is my relationship with God, and basketball falls shortly after. If I were given a chance to play in College, I wouldn't mind not coming in and starting or playing a lot immediately, I want to learn from the older guys who have more experience and can really show me how to become a better player. Outside of basketball I want to study business, or management. My dad runs a metal fabrication company and I'd love to stay there and become a manager and maybe one day the boss of it, but it won't come easy, just like basketball, a job requires hard work and good ethics. Thanks for looking at my profile!
