My name is Isaiah Novil. I'm a 6”1 185 lbs point guard . I  will be a Senior this upcoming school year at a  5A Billy Ryan  High School in Denton Texas. I am  the youngest of 6 boys. My mom has instilled in all of us a strong work ethic. I have known since I was a young boy that nothing comes easy so  I challenge myself daily to perform at a high level academically and athletically.

The season before the pandemic  I started as the point guard position for our  Varsity team. We went 23-4 this season, I was also named 2nd team All district.  I averaged 16 points along with 7 assists. Before the pandemic I played  for the Abilene Blue Devils and Abilene Select Basketball. We played in competitive tournaments in the Austin, Dallas and Houston area.

Being the point guard it is my job to be vocal and a team leader. I consider myself a strong distributor, communicator and ball handler with great shooting skills. I am often complimented for being coach-able and staying composed in games that are intense and hectic. I'm also consistently working to improve my skills outside of team practices. I usually  go to the gym on a regular basis, practice drills on my own and take private lessons. I have a competitive work ethic and push myself and teammates to be the best.

With my final Senior  season still ahead of me I know without a doubt that I want to play at the next level. I will work hard to be a great fit to a college program. I hope you will have the opportunity to watch our team play this season if the pandemic ease up a little bit. I believe I have the ability to be part of your team,and contribute to its future success.
