My name is Josiah Wray and will graduate from Midland Christian in Midland, Tx 2024. The 2021 season was my first season with Midland Christian and as a sophomore and I look to increase my contribution to the team my Junior year. I started playing AAU with West Texas Force with coach Cleve Phelps in the summer of 2020 which I played 16U as a 14 year old. Summer of 2021 I played on Force Adidas.
My love for basketball was sparked even more by attending PGC basketball camps, and look forward to going every year to understand the game better, and has helped me develop better court vision. I will continue to work on being a good teammate and I pushing myself to be more of a vocal leader in addition to my skill development.
Outside of basketball, I am active in my church at Immanuel Baptist and have gone on mission trips to Arlington, TX and Kisumu, Kenya. While on mission trips I have taught small groups of kids, and spoke in front of a school of 500 children in Kenya. I have been to Kenya 3 times and want to go back when travel is allowed.
