Devonte' Williams '15 Recruiting Profile

Ever since I was five years old, it has been my dream to play basketball. Whether it’s in high school, college, or on a professional level, I would love the opportunity to show my skills and love for basketball. Although I would love to play basketball, I understand the importance of a strong academic background. With hard work and dedication, I hope to be able to attend a college that meets my needs academically and athletically. My mother has been my motivation, and I want to make her proud by doing something that I love at the same time. I know I will need financial assistance and that will play a major role in where I attend college. My mother has even thought about moving to another state so that I have a better opportunity to get in the college I want to attend. I know it will take more than that. It’s going to take hard work and dedication on my part. And I plan to do just that.
