Jacob Wade '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jacob Wade. I have been playing basketball since the 2nd grade. Everything about the sport motivates me to be the best version of myself. I love the team dynamic of the sport and the ability to learn new skills or work on mastering the skills I have from my coaches and team mates. Every game I give myself a goal to accomplish. These goals can be as simple as getting rebounds to words of encouragement for my team when we are down in points. Through basketball I have learned that I am a goal driven person that never gives up on and off the court. I have learned how to be a team player and that a positive growth mindset goes a long way. These lessons I have learned on the court follows me off the court. I bring the same work ethic into the classroom. I never give up even if I encounter difficulty in a class. I will often reach out to those around me that can help and meet my goal I have set for myself. I have no doubt I will continue to grow and set goals for myself as I continue on my education path and start my business degree after high school.
