Jacob Hablewitz '19 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jacob Hablewitz and the game of basketball means a lot to me. I have forever loved watching  my skills develop and leading my team with my actions and voice. My number one goal is to play college basketball, and I cannot wait to see what my future holds. 

During High School, I transferred from Weyauwega Fremont to Neenah to challenge myself and look for more out of myself. I have maintained a 3.5 GPA, and am hoping to boost this even more by the time of graduation. I challenged myself in and out of the classroom, and have found a lot of interest in the Marketing/Engineering/Entrepreneurship fields. 

Being a four year varsity player shows my dedication and I have much more to prove. The competition in the FVA conference is known to be some of the best in the state, and we have started out 7-3. I am never satisfied, and want to be a state champion during my last year at Neenah. I have played four years of AAU as well for a few of the top teams in Wisconsin.  A few of my accomplishments have been Team MVP, First Team All Conference, First Team All Tournament, and winning an NY2LA championship. My career FT and 3pt percentages are 78 and 36 respectively. I am a two way guard that can handle the ball and shoot from anywhere on the floor. I like breaking down the defense and getting a teammate open shots as well. I love contributing in every stat column, and love to see what my career holds.
