June 2020 Personal Statement
- I envision my years at college to be a period of growth; in golf, academics, and personally. At 8 years old, my life took a turn when we temporarily lived on a golf course. I would spend 10-12 hours a day practicing and my passion took hold. It was then that I realized I wanted my future to be centered around golf. My family wanted to ensure my life had balance so I also played other sports. But golf was always my priority and has now become my sole focus. I have played in numerous tournaments in Southern California and most recently qualified for Junior Worlds. My goal is to be a strong and effective player as well as build up the team through motivation and leadership.
