I am writing to express my interest in joining your golf team. I am a junior at Rocky Hill High School, and I have a passion for golf that drives me to pursue excellence in this sport.

I started playing golf when I was 10 years old and have grown to love everything about the sport.  In the past 6 years, have been dedicated to improving my skills and competing at a high level. I made the varsity golf team as a freshman and was named co-captain in my sophomore year. I was ranked 6th in the 2022 New England Under Armour Tour and went on to compete in the Junior Winter Nationals in Florida. As a junior, I have a +4 handicap, and I am always striving to improve.

I am not only a talented golfer, but also a responsible student and a leader in my community. I am taking challenging courses, and I am currently enrolled in an athletic leadership class where I taught a golf lesson as one of my projects. 

My dream is to become a professional golfer, and I believe that joining your college team would be a great opportunity for me to learn from the best coaches and players, and to showcase my abilities on a national stage. I am 100% committed to my golf career, and I practice every day either in my garage using the simulator, or at my local course.
