Esten Stensrud '17 Recruiting Profile

I have been golfing since I was 4 years old. Ever since I made my first swing I have fallen in love with the game. It has always been a dream of mine to play at the collegiate level. If I am  given an opportunity to play at such a level, I will show that I deserve it, continue to work hard and strive to improve daily.

Along with my high golf IQ, I am a leader on and off the golf course. I am respected by my coaches and teammates and am a good role model. I am a coachable athlete that gets along well with people.  The commitment and dedication I bring to the teams I belong to make me a desirable recruit.

In the classroom I work very hard to maintain a good GPA. I am involved in my community through teaching kids soccer and golf. I also volunteer with the United Way and in my church.

I want to attend a college that will push me to become a better person. I am looking for a college that I think is a good match for me and that will help me grow intellectually, physically and emotionally.  

I believe there is much to be gained by competing on the golf course as well as the classroom.
