My name is Taishu Araki, and I am a sophomore at Woodlands Senior Highschool.
As an aspiring college golfer, I am striving to achieve excellence not only in the course but also in my academic pursuits. Despite the frigid New York winters, I remain dedicated to my passion by practicing with foam balls in empty parks and utilizing indoor facilities at the local golf shop during course closures. With my diligent practice and dedication to the sport, and the support from amazing coaches, my golf score has seen a remarkable improvement over the past 3 years, and I have started to distinguish myself as a strong contender in tournaments.
In addition to golf, I am also passionate about aerospace engineering and aspire to become an aircraft engineer. To turn this dream into a reality, I am committed to maintaining good grades and working diligently to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in this field.
I am committed to continuously improving my game and dedicating myself to the sport through consistent practice and hard work. Equally important, I understand that being a great teammate is crucial to the success of the team. I will strive to be supportive of my teammates, both on and off the course, and contribute positively to the team dynamic.
Thank you for your time, and I look forward to the opportunity to demonstrate my commitment and dedication to the team.
