John Leary '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is John Leary and I strive to be the best student in the classroom as well as the best athlete on the golf course. I challenge myself in the classroom by taking Honors and AP level courses while practicing my golf game everyday whether it is raining, snowing, or a beautiful day. I have been on the Varsity team for 5 years while being a team captain for 3 years. I seek to be a positive role model for my teammates. I am a three sport athlete playing golf, soccer, and basketball for 11 years but golf has always been my strongest passion. My favorite moment as a golfer is traveling to Titusville, Pennsylvania with my family to play in the Cross Creek Golf Tournament. I won first place in July 2023. I am a hard worker who pushes myself to my best ability. If you give me the chance to represent your team, I can promise I will bring teamwork, leadership, effort, and victory.
