My name is Braedan Bair, I am currently a sophomore enrolled at Franklin County Early College High School located in Louisburg, North Carolina with my base high school being Franklinton High School (where I play golf). I began playing golf competitively in high school at 14 my freshman year. Before this, I never thought that I would become as invested as I am now. At the beginning of my first season playing golf with my base high school, I was shooting well into the 100s. However, at the end of the season, I finished with my best score being a 91. I shaved off 42 strokes in a season from my first-ever score which was a 133. At the end of the season, I won the "Most Improved" player for the 2021-2022 season. Since then I haven't stopped working, now in the 2022-2023 season I started off with an 86 in our high school match. I have found myself invested and in love with the game of golf and wish to keep playing for as long as I can. Playing collegiate-level golf is currently a dream of mine that I am pushing to pursue. By my senior year of high school I am hoping to be shooting within the 70s on average, and hopefully, find the interest of colleges across the country.
