I began playing golf when I was around 6 years old at my local golf course. I played on the varsity team for my local high school in 7th and 8th grade. As a freshman in 2021, I transferred to a more competitive school and didn't make the team. When I was cut from the team, I realized that I had a lot of work to do. I started to put a lot of work and time into my game and in the summer of 2022 I dropped my handicap down from a 16 to a 11. I began playing in a few competitive tournaments that same summer and immediately fell in love with the game. I was on the Portsmouth Abbey School varsity team that year and played in the 6 spot. I practiced during the winter using an indoor simulator in a town nearby and a chipping net and putting mat at my house. Over the summer of 2023, I dropped my handicap down from a 11 to a 6 and I am now playing in the 2 spot on the Portsmouth Abbey team. I am very dedicated to improving my game both physically and mentally. When I am not practicing I like watching golf and working out. I am looking for a school with a competitive program where I can make an immediate impact and that can take my game to the next level.
