Austin MERROW '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello coaches,  my name is Austin Merrow.  I am a senior at Roosevelt High School in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.   I started playing a variety of sports such as football, softball, and basketball when I was very young.  Most golfers start playing golf when they are very young, but that wasn't the case for me. I started playing when I was 12 and to get to where I am today, has taken hard work and dedication. I lived by Kuehn golf course and met some other golfers there like Jack Lundin.  Thankful for him and his dad telling me I should tryout for the RHS golf team. I played JV golf when I was in 7th  grade and have played on varsity since I was a freshman. I have enjoyed being an uplifting teammate all of the years I have played high school golf. I would love to bring my enthusiasm and passion of the sport to a college golf team as well. I'm excited to work hard in college, not only on my golf game but most importantly academically! I believe the hard work you put in, directly relates to the reward you get out of it.
